UA Online Forum and Message Board

We're happy to announce our new bulletin board where you can post messages to each other and to UA planners. Suggest or comment on events, organize trips on your own, arrange car-pooling, anything you want to post. NOTE: This is a public board, meaning that anyone on the internet can read your messages, so post with caution and do not put any personal info in your message that you don't want the world to see. You must acquire a free account to post on the board but anyone can read the messages.
 UA Adopt-A-Road monthly clean up. Next one: Saturday 3/20

Meet at Jarboe Park for our next adopt a road clean up. We will, as always, go out for breakfast after we are done. So plan to join us and bring a friend. Directions to Jarboe Park: From Third Street in Neptune Beach, turn west at Florida Blvd, then north at the blinking light. Check out the photo album.  WASHINGTON OAKS STATE PARK DAY TRIP - Sunday 3/14

We will be celebrating Daylight Savings Day by going to Washington Oaks State Park. This park is one of the most beautiful parks in the state. Located a few miles past Marineland it sits on the Intercoastal Waterway on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side. We will spend the day going through the gardens, and hiking the trails, and enjoy lunch under the oak trees. Check out their website. We will meet and caravan to the park.  ST. JOHNS RIVERKEEPER ECO HERITAGE BOAT TRIP - APRIL 8-11
Cost: $325.00
(PALATKA TO SANFORD APRIL 8-9, AND FROM SANFORD TO PALATKA APRIL 10-11). Have you been reading and hearing about this wonderful and unique trip down the St. Johns River? We have been trying to get a group together to go on this 2 day trip, which starts in Palatka and ends up in Sanford, and then returns. You get a chance to spend the night in the one and only Jungle Den, truly a great experience all by itself. You will want to bring your friends with you and learn how to be a river rat for 2 days.  Sponsor an exotic animal (Ongoing collection)
We are collecting donations to sponsor an exotic animal at the St. Augustine Wild Reserve. It cost $25 per animal and we plan to sponsor as many as we can with your help. We have already sponsored five. Please bring some spare change to throw into the donation jar when you attend an event.  H.A.W.K.E. Fundraiser (Ongoing benefit)
Help us raise much-needed funds for Humane Association of Wildlife Care & Education. H.A.W.K.E. is the only wildlife rehab facility in Northeast Florida. You can help support it by purchasing a one-of-a-kind necklace of 5 different  critters. They are just $10.00 each and all proceeds go directly to H.A.W.K.E. JACKSONVILLE ARBORETUM OWL PROWLS
We are on the waiting list for 2/27. The January date was cancelled and that group was transferred to the February date. They will notify us if they have any openings or another date is scheduled. Reservations are required, and we will put the February 27th on our calendar so if interested in going let us know. Email info@untamedadventures.org to RSVP.

UNTAMED ADVENTURES POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
To attend any event you must meet the following qualifications and agree to the policies below:

A. Participation requirements:

1. Female only, minimum age of 18 (no maximum)

B. Payment:

1. Deposit is required to reserve a place, usually 50% of the total cost.
2. Balance is due before the day of the event. Refer to specific event listing for details.

C. Cancellations:

1. Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before the event with a full refund.
2. Any cancellations after 7 days will be refunded if a replacement is found.
3. No refund on the day of the event. This includes no-shows!
4. For events that require us to pay a deposit up front, we will issue a refund only if we are refunded from the vendor.
5. Events cancelled by Untamed Adventures due to inclement weather or other reasons will be fully refunded or credited to another event (your choice).

D. Safety:

1. No alcoholic beverages are ever permitted at any event, for the safety and enjoyment of all.
2. Participation is at your "own risk". Know your limitations.
